Agreement & Return Authorization

By purchasing any item or service from U-Turn Utopia, you confirm that you agree to our full Terms & Conditions, including the Return Policy outlined here.
All return requests require authorization from us prior to shipping the item back.

Return Options

Store Credit

  • Available for approved returns.

  • A 15% restocking fee applies (based on the item price, after any discounts).

  • Shipping and handling charges are not refunded.

Refunds

  • Approved returns may also be refunded.

  • A 25% restocking fee applies to all refunds.

  • Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.


Return & Condition Requirements

  • All claims must be made within 15 days of your item’s delivery date. The delivery date is verified using the carrier’s tracking information.

  • Once you receive your RA#, you have 10 business days to ship the item back. The item must be postmarked within this window.

  • Returned items must be in original, unused condition — no signs of wear: no scratches, scuffs, stains, or footprints inside shoes. Items may be tried on, but must not be worn.

  • All original manufacturer packaging must be included. Items that show any sign of wear or damage to packaging may be refused or have value deducted.


Submission Guidelines

  • Return authorizations must be requested via email. We do not accept RA requests by phone.

  • Shoes must be returned in their original shoe box. The box should be in original condition. Do not tape or affix labels to the original shoe box directly; instead, use wrapping or place inside another box.

  • U-Turn Utopia is not responsible for items lost or stolen during return shipping. Please insure your package and obtain tracking.


Exchanges & Store Credit Options

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs; we cover no-cost return shipping only in specific defective cases (see next section).

  • Once a returned item is received and approved, exchanges or store credit are processed. Depending on inventory, exchanges typically ship 1-2 weeks after the return is received.


Seasonal Items

  • Items in the Halloween footwear category (sold between September 15 and October 31) are exchange-only for size; no refunds.

  • Seasonal items must be in original condition. All other return rules apply.


Clearance, Sale & Final-Sale Items

  • Items in subcategories labeled Clearance, To Be Discontinued, or Like New are not eligible for return or exchange.

  • All jewelry and handbags are final sale — no returns or exchanges.

  • Items marked On Sale (automatic discount) are final sale, unless otherwise stated. (Coupons applied to regular-priced items do not make them final sale.)


Defective Merchandise

  • Defective items must be new, without signs of wear.

  • Claims for defects must be made within 30 days of delivery.

  • Defective returns must include all original packaging and boxes; incomplete packaging may void the claim.

  • We will replace a defective item with the same size/style if available. If not available, we may offer store credit or alternative solutions.

  • We will reimburse you for standard shipping back via USPS if the return is due to our error or a true defect. If you choose expedited or alternate carriers, you assume any extra costs.

  • Refunds on defective merchandise will incur a 30% restocking fee if that is your preference; otherwise, replacement or credit is preferred.


Cancellations & Refund Adjustments

  • Orders cancelled within 48 hours of placement may be altered without a processing fee; after that window, cancellations are subject to a 15% processing fee.

  • Refunds are subject to applicable restocking fees (25% for general returns; see above for defective cases).

  • Gift certificates are non-refundable and have no expiration.

  • If returned merchandise shows noticeable signs of wear or damage, the return may be refused or reduced in value; no full refund may be granted in those cases.


Discounts & Coupons

  • Discounts or coupons are applied to the item price; shipping and handling charges are not eligible for discount unless specifically stated.


Return Processing Timeline

  • Once the item is received, it undergoes inspection to verify condition and packaging. This process typically takes 3-7 business days, depending on the volume of returns.

  • If approved, refunds or store credit will be issued minus applicable restocking / processing fees; original shipping charges are not refunded unless the item is defective and it is our error.

  • If the return is due to our mistake or defective item, and you are eligible, we will reimburse standard USPS shipping (not expedited) and ship the replacement to you at no additional shipping cost.


Disclaimer / Liability

  • U-Turn Utopia, its owners, employees, affiliates, or agents are not liable for any bodily injury, property damage, or other losses resulting directly or indirectly from the use of any items sold.

  • We are not responsible for allergic reactions or other sensitivities arising from materials, preservatives, chemicals, dyes, packaging, or any manufacturing processes.

  • While we do our best to verify manufacturer quality, defects or damages not visible or undisclosed at the time of purchase may still occur. U-Turn Utopia reserves the right to approve or deny any refund or return.


Instructions for Returning an Item

  1. Contact us by email to obtain your Return Authorization (RA#). Items sent back without authorization may be refused and returned at your expense.

  2. Clearly write the RA# on the outside of your return package.

  3. Ensure your package is insured and includes tracking; U-Turn Utopia is not responsible for lost packages.

  4. Pack the item securely, including its original box and all packaging. Do not tape or affix labels directly on the shoe box; use a wrapping or secondary box.
